When we realized that the task of gettin
g the work of the clinic and ministry here up to date we realized that the list to accomplish it was quite long. We sent in a project application form to The Mission Society and they assigned it the #611, so hence we have referred to it as 'Project 611'
In December and January we started with a massive water project that included mechanizing our bore hole, running pipes to the buildings, building a water reservior up the mountain, installing sinks, toilets and showers (funded primarily from friends at St. Luke's in Hartsville, SC, USA and Wesley Chapel in Harrowgate, Leeds, UK).
In January we then
undertook a surface rennovation on two staff houses.
In February and March a new staff house was built.
In April the funds came from Brazil for a 30 KVA generator that powers the 11 buildings of the facility. It was installed in May.
In May we received funding for VSAT internet service, and it was installed within the same week that the gift came in for it.
In June the patient ward lost it's roof and is awaiting new electrical wiring, tiles on the floor, waiting and the new roof to be installed - hopefully all in July. Funding was received for the former 'guest house', a 3 bedroom house, to received a new roof, windows and doors... and a dining room added to it. We praise God for this blessing.
